  15. There is no such thing as "number of cards in <bkgnd>" yet.  The
  16. "number of cards" function assumes you mean the number of cards in the
  17. whole stack.  There is no way to determine how many cards there are in
  18. a particular background without stepping through and counting them.

  20. As it happens, I spent yesterday at Bill's house adding a few new
  21. features, one of which was "number of cards in <bkgnd>".  Don't ask me
  22. when this will ship or what else will be new because I can't talk about
  23. either topic.
